Lounge Review: Qantas Lounge London Heathrow Terminal 3 Location The Qantas lounge is located in Terminal 3 of London Heathrow airport. Once in the Terminal, follow the signs “airline lounges”. The other oneworld lounges of Cathay Pacific and British Airways are also located nearby.   Food & Drinks You will find a solid buffet here with a good variety of cold and warm dishes such as soup, salad, pastries, rice, … If there is no Qantas flight within the next couple of hours, the buffet becomes very limited and only some small snacks are available. In terms of drinks, soft drinks, wine, beer as well as some spirits are available from their bar or at the self-service desk. The highlight is definitely their beautiful Gin bar right in the entrance of the lounge. Here you will find a selection of 16 different gins, and they also offer you a waste selection of tasty gin cocktails. I never saw such a nice bar at any business class lounge and you should definitely pay this lounge a visit if you are a Gin lover, as you can literally do a gin tasting here. Seating options Many seating options are available and I think that even if the lounge becomes packed everyone should find a descent seat. From dining tables, bar chairs to sofas you have many options. Power sockets are also available at many seats. Furthermore the lounge is pretty new and has a clean and modern interior.     Other services Complimentary WiFi is available and a small business center is also embedded in the lounge. The showers and toilets are really nice in terms of decor and very spacious with some amenities as tooth brushes available. Conclusion This lounge is not quit as good as the Cathay Pacific Lounge in the same terminal, but still very decent and definitely superior than most other business class lounges. You could easily spent a couple of hours here if you have a long layover, and relax before your flight. Solid food options, delicious desserts and a big choice of drinks are available. Especially the gin bar is simply amazing and the highlight in this lounge. More than enough seating possibilities are available to accommodate people even if the lounge becomes crowded.
