Lounge Review: Lufthansa Senator Lounge Munich Terminal 2, K Gates (Non-Schengen)

This is our review of Lufthansa Senator Lounge Munich Terminal 2 Non Schengen at the K gates, which we visited in summer 2023.

Access and Location

The lounge is located near opposite of gate K11 adjacent to the Business Class lounge.

The following passengers have access: Lufthansa Senator and HON Circle members, First Class passengers & Star Alliance Gold members.

From the lounge you have a wonderful view of parts of the apron.

Seating Options

The usual seating options are available in this lounge. Individual seats where you can relax; workstations equipped with power outlets, desks, and ergonomic seating; dining tables as well as a quiet zone.

As often the case in Lufthansa lounges, seating are is provided in an open space style, so privacy is pretty limited no matter where you sit.

Food and Drinks

In terms of food and drinks, the Lufthansa Senator Lounge Munich Terminal 2K gates is very good.

While the selection of food is not huge, you still had a solid selection of 4 warm dishes, 2 soups, a solid salad bar as well as some appetizers and desserts.

Everything on offer tasted excellent and fresh, and was better than other Senator lounges we visited so far.

Except for soft drinks or coffee, there was no self-service, you get all your alcoholic beverages from a server at the bar. Despite more people in the lounge at the beginning, there were always enough servers, so that you did not have to wait too long.

You could choose between some wines, a couple of beers and a huge amount of different spirits. They also mix cocktails for you, which actually tasted very good.

Other Amenities

It is possible to reserve some sleeping pods in advance. Lufthansa will provide you with a pillow and a blanket, they seem to be the same as you get in Business class.

You also have pretty spacious showers available in the lounge, as well as magazines and storage spaces.

Through the lounge, fresh fruit and flavored water is also provided to the guests.

 

 

Bottom Line

Lufthansa Senator Lounge Munich Terminal 2 Non Schengen K Gates is definitely one of the better Senator lounges, with nice food, good drinks, solid spaces and a nice view.
