Qatar Airways makes face shields and masks mandatory
Among many other safety measures, Qatar Airways now requires economy passengers to wear face shield and a mask.
Business-class passengers are asked to wear their face shield and mask on board at their own discretion, as they enjoy more space and privacy. However, during boarding and disembarkation, all passengers will be required to wear face masks and face shields.
Children under two years of age are advised not to wear face shields and face masks.

According to the dedicated Covid-19 website of Qatar Airways, they require passengers to wear a face shield at all times, from boarding to disembarkation at the destination.
Face shields will however be distributed at the airport.Furthermore, also face masks have to be worn except when drinking or eating on the plane.
Qatar Airways has many more safety measurements implemented.
Cabin crew will wear personal protective equipment (PPE) suits in addition to masks, protective glasses and gloves.
Hand sanitizers are also available in the galley. Screens are kept sanitized for personal use and many digital newspapers or magazines are available on the Oryx One application.
Finally, protective kits containing a face mask, gloves and hand sanitizer gel will be distributed to all passengers on board.
